Membership of Heston Lodge is open to all men of good character, normally from the age of 21 years, irrespective of background or faith, and the Lodge welcomes enquiries from all members of the Community.
Joining The Lodge
Joining us in Heston Lodge couldn’t be easier. We usually invite any potential members to meet us informally a few times, over a coffee or a drink at Cole Court; this helps prospective candidates to get to know us better, and answers questions they may have about Freemasonry and about us.
If you decide you would like to join, we would then ask you to be seen and interviewed by the Lodge Committee (it’s really not too formal!) and, all being well, you will be proposed for membership at our next Regular Meeting.
Does It Matter Where I Live?
You do not have to live in the Twickenham area or Middlesex to join.
We have members from nearby Surrey, Hampshire, the Home Counties, Greater London, and as far away as Devon and Cornwall! You should consider the ease of attending our four Regular Meetings, and also how often you can get to our weekly Tuesday evening Lodge of Instruction (LOI) meetings.
How Much Will It Cost?
Perhaps not as much as you might think, and cheaper than many other Clubs or Societies.
The joining fee, which is a one-off payment is £100, and our current annual full membership subscription, including dining, is £270. Depending on when you join through the year, we would ask for a pro-rata amount for the first year.
There are also various options for payment, to suit all pockets, and the cost can be spread over the year.
We hope this information helps with any initial questions you have.
